Our newest printer

If things have been quiet around the blog lately, it's because we've been busy getting things ready at the studio to prepare for the arrival our newest little printer.



I'm pleased to present Sadie Elena Barandes, born March 17, who will no doubt be cranking her own little press before long.

I love using maps in cards and this was no exception. Paige & Peter are having a Cape Cod wedding and wanted to say as much in their save the date cards. So we whipped up a map for them to use that looked great against the stark white of the card.



Loving the map part so much, we printed a few extras including this one on a stiff ecru paper we found in the scrap pile. It gives it an antique feel and would make a fabulous post card.



If only I could remember what paper this was...
