Brooklyn Bride
Married in the heart of DUMBO, Laura and Steve used the fabulous location right under the Brooklyn Bridge as a theme throughout their wedding. It started with their save-the-dates and invitations, and even included a pre-wedding photo shoot with the bridge in the background.
The wedding and reception took place at Bubby's Pie Company. Now Bubby's is knows widely for two things, their food (to die for) and their photobooth. Yes, an old-fashioned photobooth!
Laura and Steve provided a host of accessories like hats, boas, sunglasses and fake moustaches for their guests to take fun and silly pictures. Finished photos were left on the table full of markers, stickers and other easy crafting tools so guests could paste their pictures into the album along with messages for the bride and groom. What a fabulous idea!
Our little Sadie was the accessory du jour - too young to be a flower girl for her aunt Laura, but too cute to pass up an opportunity to dress her up. The headband flower and sash were made from extra fabric from the bridesmaid dresses, an inexpensive and easy way to accessorize children attendants.
Congratulations, Laura and Steve!
